Local Delivery
Delivery minium is $50 worth of product + delivery fee based on milage from our shop.
Flower deliveries arrive between 11am-6pm, depending on our courier’s route for the day.
We are not able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day. Conditions such as weather, traffic and order volume may affect the delivery schedule.
If No One is Home:
We will contact the recipient to let them know we will leave the gift in a safe place (depending on the location and weather) for the recipient to retrieve when they return, such as with a neighbor, or a shaded porch.
Leaving Item at Door:
- Bloom House Florist cannot guarantee specific delivery times, but we do guarantee delivery on the requested date. If no one is home at the time of delivery and we cannot contact the recipient or the sender, it is Bloom House Florist policy that we leave the flowers at the door in a safe area.
- Bloom House Florist is not responsible for incorrect delivery information and additional fees may incur. It is the customer's responsibilty to provide accurate delivery information, contact information and an optimal date for delivery. We cannot be held responsible if the recipient is out of town. Your order can always be picked up at the store for no additional cost or redelivered for a redelivery fee.
- Bloom House Florist cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product if flowers are left at the door.
Bloom House Florist will do our best at every stage of fullfilling your order to communicate with you, our client if there are any issues. We greatly value our customers and we want the sender and recipient to both be completely satisfied. If any issue is to arise, we will always communicate and make necessary accommodations.

Substitution Policy
Fresh Flowers:
We are committed to delivering your important sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers, it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions of equal or greater value without prior consultation. We will make every effort to maintain the "look and feel" of the arrangement by considering the overall shape, size, style, and color combinations.
Plants:
For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. For one-of-a-kind plants, such as orchids, we will make every attempt to match the plant type, but may substitute with another color. Containers for plants will be as close as possible.
Substitutions for Special Occasions:
Due to the importance of delivering orders for special occasions, such as funerals, birthdays, and anniversaries, on specific days, we may make a substitution of equal or greater value to ensure timely delivery, if the flowers you requested are not available, and we are not able to contact you via the phone number(s) or email address you provided us.
Funeral Arrangements
Funeral arrangements typically require additional lead-time. If your sympathy or funeral order requires delivery at a specific time of day, please try to let us know several days in advance so we can best accommodate your needs. We will accomodate sunday deliveries by coordinating a saturday delivery.
Delivery to Hospitals
We are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name, the name of the recipient, room number, and phone number for the recipient. We will send your gift in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Most of the time hospital volunteers working the guest services counter accept the arrangements and are responsible for fullfilling the delivery. Please note that ICU and NICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers.
Please check with the hospital before placing your order.
Bloom House FLorist is not responsible for lost or stolen arrangements after they have been delivered. Bloom House Florist is prepared to provide photo proof of delivery.
If a direct contact phone number is not provided for the recipient at the hospital, we cannot let them know that we have delivered flowers to the hospital and that they should be expecting hospital staff to deliver them. We understand that the recipient is in the hospital and may not be able to answer the phone, but they can possibly receive a text or a family member may be there with them.
Proper Care
Once you have received your fresh floral arrangement, there are a few steps you can take that will make a significant difference in the life of your flowers. Some flowers will fade sooner than others, simply remove them as you go. Keep the vase full of water daily. Run water through the arrangement to refresh the arrangement or pour it out and refill. Keep your arrangement in a cool place and out of direct sunlight.
